I'm a mixed media artist. I paint mostly with acrylics, with an occasional flurry of drawings when the mood strikes. I work in one series at a time, about a year each, and this site is my trail of breadcrumbs: every series, the story behind it, and a journal I keep along the way.

Nothing but Chickens

I have a thing for chickens. I suppose I’m just one of many. I used to think I wanted my own backyard chickens. That was short lived once I realized how troublesome keeping them healthy and alive can be (think coyotes). These days I’m happy visit the feral chickens along the Brickell Underline and then paint them from the comfort of my air conditioned studio!
